color film
Sorry it's been so long since my last post! A lot's been going on "behind the scenes!
First off - new camera! I've actually READ THE MANUAL (Oooo!). Mostly because I knew I could do some neat stuff - but had no idea how (first real digital camera). Yes - I finally stopped being stubborn (developing costs were driving me crazy). The above pictures are from several years ago with my film camera - but since I am going on a road trip in northern Arizona this weekend, and there are some wildfires, I may get something similar. After all, now that I've read the manual, I need to practice!
Secondly, blog changes! I am working on gradually making some format changes to the blog to make things easier to find, and add some functionality. Since the only kind of computer geek I am is in Excel - this is going to take me awhile. I promise the only ads on the blog will be for my photos. And those will not be "in your face" or detract from content.
Finally - I'm working on a "secret project" for those of you who love my art, but can't afford to put down the money for a framed print. It'll be great - and once I get a little farther along, you'll get to tell ME how this will work!

Windmills in the Desert Night
Friday night, I went out into the desert near the Superstition Mountains
to get some pictures of the Supermoon. Got some of those, despite the
sun setting substantially after moonrise - but the best pictures of the
night were facing AWAY from the moon...
I'll get back to the Supermoon later. Got some shots I love from that too. :)
